The FS26 family of automotive safety system basis chips (SBCs) provides power management, system control, and diagnostic functions for automotive applications, including electrification, powertrain, chassis, safety, gateway, and S32K3-based systems. The FS26 integrates multiple switch-mode and LDO regulators to supply microcontrollers, sensors, peripheral devices, and communication interfaces. It also includes a high-precision voltage reference, voltage-tracking regulators, GPIOs, an analog multiplexer, selectable wake-up sources, and SPI communication support. The FS26 is compliant with ISO 26262 and supports safety applications up to ASIL B and ASIL D through fail-safe outputs and on-demand latent fault monitoring.
