The OM13506 is an evaluation/demo board designed to evaluate and promote the PCF8553DTT LCD driver. Able to drive up to 160 segments in a configuration 40 segments x 4 backplanes, the PCF8553DTT is housed in the TSSOP56 package and it is optimized for low-voltage (minimum supply voltage 1.8 V), low-power (about 5 uA in mux 1:4 and all display elements enabled) and low-cost. The OM13506 includes a custom circuit that allows measuring the current consumption on VDD and VLCD pins.
