Both hard drives and a port of the motherboard are connected to the EX-3455. For an existing operating system, data from hard drive 0 is automatically copied to hard drive 1 in the background. You can continue to work normally during this time. When a new operating system is installed, the data is written to both hard drives simultaneously with no loss of speed. The EX-3455 can be installed in an 8.9 cm (3 1/2") or 13.34 cm (5 1/4") front bay or in a PCI Express slot. With the low-profile bracket, the EX-3455 can even be used in a narrow housing up to a height of 8 cm.
