The Raspberry Pi High Quality Camera is the latest camera accessory from Raspberry Pi (without lens, see accessories). It offers a higher resolution than its predecessor v2 (12 megapixels, compared to 8 megapixels), higher sensitivity (approx. 50% more area per pixel for improved low-light performance) and is designed for use with interchangeable lenses in C and CS mounts. However, other lens form factors can be adapted with third-party lens adapters. It is designed for industrial and consumer applications, including security cameras, that require the highest level of visual fidelity and/or integration with specialty optics. Important note This camera is compatible with all common Raspberry Pi boards up to Raspberry Pi 4.
