Visaton EXPERIENCE V 20 The EXPERIENCE V 20 is designed as a 96-litre bass reflex cabinet and features a baffle arrangement based on the D'Appolito principle arranged symmetrically around the tweeter. To suppress any unwanted interference from the baffle on the beam pattern, the entire mid-range to high-range unit is not positioned in the centre, but towards the inner side. The two parallel W 200 S 8 Ohm drivers acts as woofers in the EXPERIENCE V 20 up to approx. 450 Hz, and this is where the mid-range drivers come into play. The W 130 S 8 Ohm drivers are also connected in parallel and cover the mid-range frequency up to approx. 3000 Hz, with the G 25 FFL 8 Ohm textile dome taking over at the high range. The frequency crossover is intended for bi-wiring technology. From very first minute of listening to the EXPERIENCE V 20, you will experience the unbridled exuberance of these speakers. In the lower octave levels, the two 20-cm woofers produce precise bass sounds that pack a dynamic punch unusual for speakers of this size. The base range (100 - 300 Hz) has a warm sound, while the mid-range produces absolutely linear, undistorted sound; the overall effect is of very tangible sounds, perfectly separated from the speaker itself. The crystal-clear, airy high-range playback from the 25-mm fabric dome adds the final touch to the top frequency end.
