The MDP2DPMM2M 2-meter Mini-DisplayPort™ to DisplayPort adapter cable has a mini-DP connector on one end and a DP connector on the other end. This allows you to connect any Mini-DisplayPort-enabled laptop (including the Mac® family) to an HDTV, monitor, or projector with a standard DisplayPort connector. The MDP to DP cable supports high resolutions of up to 4K x 2K (3840 x 2160) at 60 Hz with a maximum HBR2 bandwidth of 21.6 Gbit/s. This cable also supports Multi Stream (MST) for daisy-chaining multiple monitors and provides optional audio support. Please note: Newer laptops and desktop computers (such as Apple®) are equipped with Thunderbolt™ ports only.
