Since 1 January 2016, power adapters for Switzerland must be manufactured or imported in accordance with ESTI standard SN SEV 1011:2009/A1:2012. This has resulted in changes / innovations with regard to maintaining the protection class, overcurrent protection, no single-pole plugging, no stacking permitted. In addition, the duration of use was limited to one hour at full load.
