The Homatic IP Dimmer Flush Mount is part of the Homematic IP Smart Home System and can be used for switching lights on, off and dimming. The dimming actuator is compact, so it can be conveniently placed in standard flush-mounted or surface-mounted sockets. Existing lighting systems can thus be modernized with just a few simple steps by using existing cables and in future controlled by radio via a remote control, a wall switch or the free smartphone app. Since the actuator is a phase section dimmer, it is suitable for classic incandescent lamps, halogen lamps, for dimmable energy saving lamps as well as for most dimmable LED lamps. The fully electronic phase section dimmer has been specially optimized for energy-saving lamps, whose switching capacity is between 3 and 80 VA. The modern electronics make operation possible without any noise emission.
