The module works with an NTC (thermoresistor) and can monitor the temperature with an accuracy of +/- 0.5°C, which is sufficient for many applications. The resistance value is converted into a temperature using the Steinhart-Hart equation. In the data sheet, you will find a sample programme, including a conversion and a sample connection. In contrast to the ARD SEN TEMP1, this board offers a 3-pin connection socket and an LED for indicating the operating status.
