The Plustek OpticFilm 8100 is a high-resolution slide/negative film scanner used by professional photographers, hobby photographers, graphic designers, photo laboratories and schools worldwide.

The Plustek OpticFilm 8100 is a versatile film scanner with an optical resolution of 7200 dpi. The LED light unit not only ensures precise colour rendering, but also low energy consumption. The two controls on the front panel can be operated with just one tap and make scanning even easier, e.g. for sharing on websites or social media such as Flickr, Facebook or Picasa.

The included SilverFast SE Plus 8 software in combination with the OpticFilm 8100 makes a perfect working tool for different applications. In addition, the integrated Multi-Exposure® function (multiple exposure) offers a method for increasing the dynamic range and plays a decisive role in ensuring a high level of quality.

Compared to conventional flatbed scanners, the compact design of the scanner requires considerably less room and thus saves a lot space.
