The Arty S7-50 board features the new Xilinx Spartan-7 FPGA and is the youngest member of the Arty family for tinkerers and hobbyists. The Spartan-7 FPGA offers size, performance and cost-conscious designs using Xilinx's latest technologies and is fully compatible with the Vivado Design Suite. Using this FPGA in the Arty form factor offers users a variety of I/O and expansion capabilities. Use the Arduino® double-row connectors to install one of hundreds of hardware-compatible shields, or use the Pmod ports with Digilent's finished Pmod IP blocks for an enhanced design experience. Arty S7-50 is designed for compatibility with the MicroBlaze™ Soft processor and can also be used immediately after unpacking with the free Xilinx WebPack.
