The Raspberry Pi Model B+ has landed at ModMyPi! The ultra-low-cost, deck-of-cards sized Linux computer has had a makeover, and it's a good one at that! The Raspberry Pi Model B+ incorporates a number of enhancements and new features including improved power consumption, increased connectivity with 4 USB ports, and a greater 40 Pin GPIO! Back-Compatibility Note - The GPIO Pin area is now 40 pins long however the first 26 pins are identical to the Model B to provide 100% backward compatibility for your projects. The B+ also includes the same CSI port for the camera module, and is compatible with the same operating systems (Raspian, OpenELEC, OSMC etc.). The new Model B+ also requires a 5V 2A or greater power supply for best results (which we stock separately!) Case Fitment Note - The Raspberry Pi Model B+ Features a completely revised layout.
