The Python® Series High-Speed HDMI® 2.0b AOC cable with state-of-the-art hybrid technology and 18 Gbit/s data rate transmits uncompressed audio and video signals up to 4K / UHD at 60Hz (4:4:4). At the same time, it offers complete protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI). The robust armored cable design makes the cable ideal for use in industry, medical technology and event technology.

Due to this high-quality and robust cable construction, the cable is tread-proof, offers protection against rodents and is used wherever highest reliability is required. The cable material used is high-quality and halogen-free TPU material. In addition to flexibility and stability, it combines durability through UV, acid, alkali and oil resistance with safety-relevant properties such as flame-retardant, low-smoke and self-extinguishing fire behavior. The durable, robust and precision-engineered HDMI connectors are housed in zinc-plated full metal housings for a secure fit and perfect transmission quality. When the cable is not in use, the two connectors can be stored in the screw housings attached to the ends and are thus protected against negative environmental and weather influences.

Future-oriented hybrid technology The hybrid technology enables lossless transmission of high-resolution HDMI signals over distances of up to 100 meters, as it combines the advantages of a fiber optic cable with those of a copper cable. The AV streams are transmitted via fiber optic cables, which are insensitive to electromagnetic interference and allow long transmission distances. For this purpose, the electrical signal is converted into an optical signal in the first connector and then converted back again after transmission in the other connector. In contrast to purely optical HDMI cables, all HDMI data (e.g. EDID, HDCP, CEC) and the 5V HDMI voltage can be transmitted with the help of the hybrid technology and the copper conductors contained in the cable.

HDMI 2.0b - Resolutions up to 4K / UHD at 60Hz This high-quality processed AOC cable complies with the High-Speed HDMI® 2.0b standard and supports resolutions up to 4K at 60Hz (color sampling 4:4:4) as well as the digital audio signal with a bandwidth of max. 18 Gbit/s.

EMI immunity and flexibility for many applications With its fiber optic and copper conductor construction, Python® Series AOC hybrid cable provides electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection and low attenuation. A small cable diameter of only 5.2 mm allows for an extremely tight bend radius (20 mm). The lightweight, thin and flexible design makes the cable suitable for a wide variety of installations, for example:

High quality cable construction The solid and shielded full metal connectors with gold-plated contacts ensure an optimal connection and EMI protection. Due to the zinc plating, the connectors are also protected against corrosion. High-quality and shielded copper conductors are used for the HDMI data and the 5V voltage. In combination with the high-quality OM3 optical fibers, this allows for loss-free signal transmission. Due to this high-quality AOC cable construction, distances of up to 100 meters can be realized. For easier installation, cables from 30 meters are wound on a spool.

Easy handling due to plug and play Plug it in and go! No drivers are required and the cable needs no external power supply as it is powered directly via HDMI. AOC cables are unidirectional, meaning they are directional and only work in one direction. Therefore, the connector ends are clearly marked "Source" for the signal source and "Display" for the signal sink.

Notes: AOC cables are very sensitive - kinking the cable and falling below the minimum bending radius of 2 cm can lead to irreversible damage to the cable. The cable has one signal direction and must not be connected the wrong way round - the ends are therefore marked "Source" (e.g. PC or receiver) and "Display" (e.g. TV). Successful connection with an HDMI adapter or adaptation to other signal types cannot be guaranteed.
