The fan timer relay was specifically designed for controlling two-stage motors. The on and off delays are separate and can be continuously adjusted. It is controlled via a two-stage switch. The motor contactors are controlled via the two interlocked outputs. Operation: 1. If stage 2 is selected directly, stage 1 is first activated for the set startup time so that the fan can run up to the nominal speed. Then stage 2 is activated. 2. When switching from stage 2 back to stage 1 or OFF, a switch-off delay is triggered so that the fan can run down before stage 1 is activated. 3. If stage 1 is already activated for at least the set startup time, the switchover to stage 2 takes place immediately. When switching from stage 1 to 2, the interruption must not exceed 250 ms.
