The RevPi Connect 4, based on the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 (CM4), is characterized by its modular design, open source concept and industrial suitability.

It is powered by the Broadcom BCM2711 processor, a 64-bit quad-core Arm Cortex-A72. The RevPi Connect 4 features up to 32 GB of eMMC memory, optional WLAN/Bluetooth connectivity, and is expandable with up to ten I/O modules. The device is equipped with an integrated real-time clock (RTC) and a hardware watchdog. It also has a HAT EEPROM for storing device information. There are six RGB LEDs on the front panel of the device, five of which are individually programmable. The RevPi Connect 4 comes with a pre-installed, customized 64-bit Raspberry Pi OS that includes a real-time patch and process image. Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP protocols are supported by default. The RevPi Connect 4 allows the user to install additional control and HMI software. It supports protocols such as MQTT and OPC UA and enables the development of custom applications, including Node-RED, Python and C.
