The RE46C600 is a low power CMOS ionization smoke detector MCU companion IC. The RE46C600 provides all of the analog, interface, and power regulation functions for a micro controller-based ionization smoke detector. It is intended for use in both 3V battery and AC battery-backed applications. It features a boost converter and horn driver circuit suitable for driving a piezoelectric horn, a 4.0V regulator for micro-controller voltage regulation, an operational amplifier and an interconnect circuit for communication with other smoke detectors units.
