The KNX/IP Router Secure with integrated bus coupler is used as a line/area coupler and connects KNX bus lines with each other via data networks as a fast backbone. The device can also serve as a programming interface to connect one or more PCs to the KNX bus (e.g. for ETS programming). Communication between the KNX/IP routers is secured. In addition to KNXnet/IP routing, the device also supports KNXnet/IP tunnelling, whereby up to 8 secured connections can be used simultaneously. The IP address can be assigned via a DHCP server or by manual configuration (ETS). The KNX/IP router has an extended filter table for main groups 0 to 31 and can buffer up to 150 telegrams. An external power supply is not required.
