The TEA2226AT is a digital configurable LLC controller for high efficiency resonant power supplies with an output power in the range of 90 W to 1000 W. High efficiency at low loads is achieved by using a low power and burst mode. Because the TEA2226AT uses the resonant capacitor voltage as control parameter, it has accurate information about the output power. This information is used to define the transition points between the different switching modes. The IC also includes an integrated X-capacitor discharge function without the need to add external components. The TEA2226DK1009 kit includes development samples and a socket board. They can be used in combination with the RDK01DB1563 I²C interface available separately.
