PNEV7220BP1 is a flexible and easy-to-use development board which can be connected to a i.MX 8 microcontroller running Android. The PNEV7220BP1 supports the design cycle of contactless payment terminals based on Android - NFC Forum and EMVCo 3.x applications can be quickly evaluated. The board is implementing the PN7221 which is backward-compatible with the PN7220. With PN7220, POS manufacturers can expand their products to the new SoftPOS payment device category. With an EMV Level 1-compliant performance, PN7220 provides high performance to the user, while the NCI interface offers seamless integration into Android.
