The Roller485 Lite Unit is an all-in-one brushless DC motor control kit for efficient motion control. It supports 6-16V DC power input through the PWR485 interface or 5V input via the Grove connector and can automatically adjust power settings for optimal performance. With a built-in FOC closed-loop drive system and a 3504 200KV brushless motor, it can handle a continuous phase current of 0.5A and up to 1A for short bursts, without needing to cool down. The motor driver has a magnetic encoder for feedback, providing precise control over current, speed, and position. To make monitoring easy, it includes a 0.66" OLED display showing the device's real-time status. There’s also an RGB indicator light and a function button for easy interaction. The unit's base is designed with both LEGO-compatible mounting holes and M3 screw holes, making it easy to assemble and put into projects. Roller485 Lite's hardware and software are fully open-source, allowing for motion control and parameter adjustment via RS485 or I2C buses. It also provides SWD and SWO debugging interfaces for added flexibility in development.
