A smart powered bridge amplifier that is designed for use with load cells or strain gauges. The unit converts the input signal into a process value and output either a voltage, bipolar voltage or active/passive current re-transmission signal. The unit works with either an AC or a DC power supply, making the device ideal for battery operation. Two front panel push buttons are provided that can be configured to perform one of two functions or be disabled.
