Both professionals and tradesmen can use this instrument to check for moisture content diagnosis in a variety of construction materials, while the 20-LED bar graph within the keypad displays current moisture levels - green for 'OK', amber for 'WARNING' or red for 'DAMP'. The instrument also incorporates a large, easy to read, LCD display with low battery indication. The 7000 unit is housed in a robust ABS case and is powered by 3 x AAA batteries, giving a minimum of 350 hours battery life. The instrument powers off automatically after 10 minutes, maximising battery life (can be disabled, if required).
