Antex XG075KT 75W Soldering Iron Kit (GasCat)

The Antex 75W Soldering Iron Kit (GasCat) is a compact, butane gas powered, soldering iron producing adjustable heating power equivalent to a 60W electrically powered iron.

* Ideal for use where mains power is unavailable, and where other irons do not produce enough heat output * Applications include heavy-duty soldering, localised brazing, heat shrink tubing, leadwork repairs, cutting and sealing nylon rope * The tough nylon body contains a gas reservoir which can hold sufficient fuel for approximately 1 hours continuous use before refilling * Tip temperature is variable, and is regulated by the nylon gas flow adjuster at the base of the unit * The iron is available separately with a 2.4mm chisel tip fitted * In kit form the iron is fitted with a hot air tip * Also supplied in the convenient plastic carry-case are a soldering tip, hot knife tip, flame tip, hot air tip and a tip cleaning sponge * Supplied without gas * Antex Gascat 60 range
