The Sparkfun GPS/GNSS Magnetic Mount Antenna - 3m (SMA) is a versatile tool designed for optimal reception of both GPS and GLONASS signals. It is equipped with a magnetic mount for easy attachment to metal surfaces, making it perfect for use with the SparkFun GPS ground plate. The antenna comes with a 3m cable and a standard SMA connector for easy integration into your projects.Unlike standard GPS antennas that are typically optimized for US-based GPS reception, this antenna is designed to work with a wide range of modules capable of tracking additional constellations. This makes it an ideal choice for GNSS receivers, which require the right antenna for accurate tracking. The Sparkfun GPS/GNSS Magnetic Mount Antenna - 3m (SMA) is recommended for RTK use when combined with the ground plate. For those who need Beidou reception and additional gain, the GPS/GNSS embedded antenna is a great alternative. With dimensions of 50x38x17mm and a weight of 75g (including the 3m cable), this antenna is compact and lightweight. It operates within a frequency range of 1575 - 1610MHz, with GPS and GLONASS center frequencies of 1575.42MHz and 1602MHz respectively. The LNA voltage ranges from 3 to 5VDC, with a gain of 28dB and a current of 10mA. The antenna also features right-hand polarization and a 50Ω impedance. For more detailed information, please refer to the datasheet provided by Sparkfun.
