This photoelectric proximity switch uses fibre optic technology to produce a sensor that is ideal for use in e.g. explosive or strong magnetic environments, where electrical signals may present a risk of explosion or may not function correctly. The sensor is designed to be DIN rail mounted and can be easily stacked for multi-sensor operations. The maximum switching distance is 200mm and there is adjustment between 20 to 200mm via an illuminated-scale, 12-turn potentiometer.
