The Seeed Studio XIAO nRF52840 Plus is a compact Bluetooth development board built around the Nordic nRF52840 chipset. This Plus variant builds on the original XIAO nRF52840 by introducing an updated castellated layout and additional back-side pads, increasing the total GPIO count to 20 for use in more demanding Bluetooth-based projects. It retains all the core features of the standard version, including USB-C power/programming, integrated Li-ion battery charging, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC capability, low power consumption, and compatibility with Arduino, MicroPython, and CircuitPython. The board is ideal for compact wireless devices requiring high performance and extended I/O support through SMD integration. Please note that Seeed XIAO Plus boards don't come with pin headers as it's designed for SMD board-to-board soldering, however we sell a set of XIAO headers in the store if you need them.
