The S12ZVMEVB is a development board for the S12 MagniV® S12ZVM 16-bit MCUs targeted for 2-phase DC and 3-phase BLDC or PMSM motor control applications. The S12ZVM integrates an MCU with an S12Z core, a 5 V voltage regulator, a LIN physical layer and a gate driver unit capable of controlling up to 6 power MOSFETs and is targeted for automotive applications such as HVAC blowers, engine cooling fans, wiper systems, fuel or water pumps. There are two versions of the EVB: * The S12ZVML12EVB uses the S12ZVML128 integrating a LIN transceiver * The S12ZVMC12EVB uses the S12ZVMC128 integrating a voltage regulator controller for an external CAN transceiver
