The miriac™ EK5744 is a Functional Safety Evaluation Kit for evaluation, design and prototyping applications requiring IEC 61508/62061 (SIL1 and SIL2), ISO 13849 categories 1 and 2 and performance levels analog-to-digital or similar standards. Developed in partnership with MicroSys Electronics and based on the 32-bit Power Architecture® MPC5744P ultra-reliable microcontroller, the miriac™ EK5744 supports NXP's SafeAssure program and provides a solid based for custom functional safety developments. A concept study for use according to IEC 61508/62061 SIL3 and ISO 13849 category 2 for the MPC5744P MCU and MC33907 power SBC are in progress.
