The NCP4641 is a 150mA CMOS Voltage Regulator with a wide input voltage range of 4V to 36V and a maximum input tolerance up to 50V. The device has a low quiescent current and its multiple protection features include a peak current limit circuit, a short circuit current limit and a thermal shutdown mechanism. The device is available a SOT-89-5 where space is at a premium. The SOIC8-TL package which has greater power dissipation capability can be introduced on request.
