The MR-BMS771 is a standalone battery management system (BMS) reference design for mobile robotics applications, including drones and rovers, supporting 7- to 14-cell battery packs. The MR-BMS771 integrates cell voltage, pack voltage, output voltage, current, and temperature monitoring, along with power switching and secure element functionality for advanced battery control. Based on the S32K146 microcontroller, the design supports CAN, UAVCAN, I²C, and SMBus communication and enables flexible software development. Additional features include NFC, display support, UART connectivity, and compatibility with the Model-Based Design Toolbox (MBDT) for MATLAB® and Simulink®-based algorithm development.
