The Arducam LAN Cable Extension Kit lets you place your Raspberry Pi camera up to 10–15 metres away from your board using a standard LAN cable (1m cable included). It converts the high-speed MIPI CSI-2 interface into an Ethernet-compatible connection, allowing far greater range than a traditional FFC cable - and without needing any additional software or configuration. It’s plug-and-play with Raspberry Pi 5, 4 and 3 and Compute Modules (CM modules via carrier boards with appropriate IO available). Simply connect your camera and board at each end of the LAN cable, and you’re ready to go. A 1m Rj45 cable is included to get you started, but you'll find longer RJ45 cable options in the store.
