LT3688EFE#PBF is an adjustable frequency (350KHz to 2.2MHz) dual monolithic step-down switching regulator equipped with two power-on reset timers and a watchdog timer. Operating off inputs up to 36V, the regulator features low ripple Burst Mode® operation, maintaining high efficiency at low output currents while ensuring output ripple remains below 25mV in typical applications. Its input quiescent current is just 115μA. Shutdown circuitry reduces input supply current to less than 1μA when EN/UVLO is pulled low. Both the reset and watchdog timeout periods are adjustable using external capacitors. Tight accuracy specifications and glitch immunity ensure reliable reset operation without false triggering. The open-collector active-low RST pins will pull down if the monitored output voltage drops 10% below the programmed value. Applications for this regulator include automotive electronic control units, industrial power supplies, and high-reliability μProcessor systems.
