The Suptronics X1015 is an SSD expansion board for Raspberry Pi 5, allowing you to attach full-size 2280-format M.2 NVMe drives (as well as 2260, 2242, and 2230), via the PCIe 2.0/3.0 interface. It supports data transfer rates of up to 8Gbps. Designed to mount on top of the Raspberry Pi 5, it features a pass-through 40-pin header for continued GPIO access and supports use with other HATs. The cut-away form factor is compatible with the Raspberry Pi Active Cooler. Mounting holes and the included standoffs help secure the board to your Raspberry Pi 5. Built-in LED indicators show power and read/write drive activity. You can boot directly from an SSD, improving application load times, file transfer speeds, and performance in tasks like web serving or building a local media server or NAS.
