Door opening with a fingerprint The SwitchBot Keypad Touch is a smart keypad that is used in combination with your SwitchBot Smart Lock. Equipped with a biometric fingerprint identification algorithm, it allows you and your family to open the front door with just a fingerprint. Up to 100 fingerprints can be stored locally, without any cloud or external storage. Illuminated keypad In addition to the fingerprint sensor, the Keypad Touch also has an illuminated keypad. This therefore remains clearly visible even in the dark and not only enables locking at the touch of a button, but also the storage of individually adjustable button combinations (even with passcode recognition protection if required), which unlock the front door. You can choose between permanent and temporary passwords as well as one-time or emergency passcodes. If you are not at home when you are expecting visitors, you can simply share your password with them via the app. Protected against sabotage The securely designed Keypad Touch is reliably protected against attempted break-ins and sabotage. If an unknown fingerprint or an incorrect password is entered five times in a row, an alarm sounds and the keypad is locked for five minutes. The alarm also sounds if the keypad is tampered with. P65 protection class and up to two years of battery life The SwitchBot Keypad Touch remains reliable even over long periods of time, as it has a battery life of up to two years and an IP65 protection class. So wind and weather can't harm it and you don't have to keep replacing the batteries. If the battery capacity is nearing its end, the device will notify you in good time. Integrated NFC card sensor Thanks to an integrated NFC card sensor, you can also open your front door with compatible NFC cards if required, such as the SwitchBot card included in the scope of delivery. These cards must of course be stored on the device beforehand and up to 100 cards can be stored in the system. The Keypad Touch is therefore also perfect for house rentals or property management. Simple installation You can install the SwitchBot Keypad Touch yourself in just a few minutes. The supplied operating instructions provide you with clear instructions and you don't need any previous professional knowledge. Compatible with the SwitchBot Hub Mini In combination with a separately available SwitchBot Hub Mini, you gain access to additional helpful functions. It allows you to view the usage history and the current (energy) status of your lock via the SwitchBot app. In addition, the connection to the SwitchBot Hub Mini allows you to receive push notifications, for example when someone unlocks the lock.
