Automotive grade Time-of-Flight imager with VGA system resolution IRS2877A is an automotive qualified member of Infineon’s REAL3™ Time-of-Flight (ToF) imager family. It offers VGA system resolution (640x480 pxl) at a tiny 1/4“ (4 mm) image circle enabling lens sizes known from mobile phones. Furthermore, the camera module BoM is optimized by an integrated eye-safety functionality and an efficient supply concept with standard 1.8V and 3.3V only while offering best performance in strong sunlight conditions thanks to the 5th generation of ToF pixel design including on-chip suppression of background Illumination (SBI) circuitry in every pixel. The imager comes in a 9x9 mm optical BGA package allowing standard soldering processes.
