[elecena] TDA staggered pin to 16 DIL converter socket - zmiany ceny

16 staggered pin to 16 DIL converter socket. (upgrade)

OK folk's so what's this all about.... well, it looks like some of the old staggered pin chips as manufactured in the TDA / TBA series were replaced with the now standard DIL packages, probably because these were a real pain to de-solder and replace. And the added advantages of the splayed pins acting as a heatsink was dubious. So this little gem is a converter socket that allows 16 pin DIL chips to replace staggered pin chips. Example is the TDA2600 TV chip. The addition of the included brass heatsink helped with any cooling issues.

So... who will want these in 2019 ? not sure, but Mr. vintage TV collector man, they are here if you need them.

Status: NOS (New Old Stock) in perfect condition, still bagged as supplied by CHS. complete with brass heatsink/clip thing.
