The FRITZ!Box 6850 4G also impresses with convenient telephony, intelligent security functions and extensive smart home functions via DECT ULE as well as a powerful FRITZ!OS. Maximum flexibility for the best reception For a reliable connection even in changing network conditions, the FRITZ!Box 6850 4G operates in 11 4G (LTE) and three 3G (UMTS/HSPA+) bands. If required, external mobile radio antennas can also be connected to further optimize the reception quality. An integrated alignment aid helps to determine the ideal location and the best positioning of the antennas. A special plus is the option to select individual mobile radio bands - for more control, stable performance and optimum use of the available network resources. WLAN AC+N and WLAN Mesh with FRITZ! The FRITZ!Box 6850 4G uses dual WLAN to transmit in parallel in the 2.4 GHz (WLAN N) and 5 GHz (WLAN AC) frequency bands, enabling data rates of up to 1,266 MBit/s to be achieved in total. In combination with a FRITZ! repeater or FRITZ! powerline adapter (with Wi-Fi), users benefit from the mesh: the FRITZ! devices distributed throughout the home work in a single network, exchange data with each other and optimize the performance of all Wi-Fi devices. Communication and entertainment throughout the smart home The FRITZ!Box 6850 4G combines comprehensive communication and multimedia functions: the integrated VoIP telephone system supports classic telephone connections, up to six DECT telephones and smartphones with functions such as answering machines and telephone directories. FRITZ! smart home products for heat and electricity can be conveniently integrated at the DECT base station. In addition, the FRITZ!Box 6850 4G offers an integrated media server with NAS connection that makes movies, music and pictures from USB storage devices or online services available in the network and can stream them to playback devices.
