The TAA6065AT is an automotive-qualified digital controller designed for high-efficiency resonant Inductor Inductor Capacitor (LLC) micro-direct current to direct current (micro-DCDC) converters and standby power supplies. In EVs, battery drain during parking can reduce driving range, so main DCDC converters are typically turned off due to poor low-load efficiency. This controller addresses these issues by delivering high efficiency across the full load range, enabled by NXP’s GreenChip technology and an advanced low-power mode that minimizes energy consumption during parking. The TAA6065DK1012 development kit includes a TAA6065AT single small-size small outline 16-pin (SO16) socket board for programming, an RDK01DB1563 Inter-Integrated Circuit (I²C) Interface and 20 TEA6065AT integrated circuit (IC) samples suitable for micro-DCDC converter development.
