The 24LC64 from Microchip Technology Inc. is a 64 Kb I2C™-compatible serial EEPROM. The module is organised as a single block of 8K x 8-bit memory with a 2-wire serial interface. The low-voltage design allows operation up to 2.5 V, with standby and active current of only 1 µA and 1 mA. It is designed for advanced low-power applications such as personal communication or data collection. The 24LC64 also has a page write function for up to 32 bytes of data. Up to eight devices can be connected to the same bus via functional address lines, which enables an address space of up to 512 Kbits.
