The 24AA32A/24LC32A from Microchip Technology Inc. is a 32-KB I2C™-compatible serial EEPROM. The module is organised as a single block of 4Kx8-bit memory with a 2-wire serial interface. Low-voltage design allows operation up to 1.7 V with a standby and active current of only 1 µA and 1 mA. It is designed for advanced low-power applications such as personal communication or data collection. The 24XX32A also features a page writing function for up to 32 bytes of data. Up to 8 devices can be connected to the same bus via functional address lines, which enables an address space of up to 256 Kbits.
