Thanks to a large gap between the blade and the plastic, the safety knife can, for example, cut through multiple layers of film and paper. With a thickness of 3 mm, curved cuts in narrow spaces are also possible. The concealed blade is made of stainless steel, the cutting edge is TiN-coated.
