The Lindy DP locks can be used to physically prevent access to DP connections. The DP port key allows the user to quickly block DP device connections and easily prevents users from connecting cables, devices or foreign objects without permission. The DP port lock consists of a plastic blocking cap, which is securely inserted into the DP connection with a special key. The lock latches into the port like a standard DP cable and remains in place until removed using the key. This helps protect against unauthorised access to IT or AV equipment and prevents accidental or intentional damage to ports. It can also be used as a visual indicator of inactive or disconnected ports, making it ideal for use in schools, offices or other public facilities.
