USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 doubles the bandwidth of USB 3.2 Gen 2 (previously USB 3.1 Gen 2). Now you can transfer data at up to 20 Gbit/s. The USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 type C® cables can do even more: Besides bidirectional data transfers, you can also charge your notebook, tablet or smartphone with up to 100 W at the same time. Of course, the DP alternative mode is available again, with which you can send digital audio and image signals via your USB type C® interface: resolutions of 3840× 2160/60 Hz (4K, UHD) are possible. Thanks to the USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 type C® cable, you now only need a single cable to connect your notebook/Ultrabook to your monitor and charge the integrated monitor USB hub at the same time.
