Noctua's DX series has developed into a standard solution for quiet, high-performance cooling in the Xeon sector. The latest i4 release supports LGA2011 (both Square ILM and narrow ILM), LGA1356 and LGA1366-based Intel Xeon systems, and the new D9 model provides greater efficiency and compatibility than previous 9cm versions: Thanks to a footprint of 95x95mm and the reduced height to 110mm, the NH-D9DX i4 is fully compatible with 3U and stands at LGA2011 Square ILM and LGA13xx not above the memory banks. At the same time, the double tower design and the new NF-A9 PWM fan ensure even better cooling performance with minimal noise. Together with the professional SecuFirm2™ mounting system and Noctuas NT-H1 quality thermal grease, the NH-D9DX i4 3U is a complete premium package for silent cooling of Xeon workstations and servers.

3U Compatibility The NH-D9DX i4 is only 110mm high: 15mm less than the previous 4U compatible 9cm coolers of the DX series and thus the NH-D9DX i4 fits in 3U housings - ideal for noise-sensitive 3U applications such as in the audio or video sector.

100% RAM compatibility With its footprint of 95x95mm, the NH-D9DX i4 does not hang over the RAM slots on current LGA2011 Square ILM, LGA1366 and LGA1356. This ensures not only easy access to the memory modules, but also full compatibility with modules that have high heat sinks.*

NF-A9 Premium fan The highly optimized system features Noctua's special AAO frame system as well as advanced aerodynamic design measures such as Flow Acceleration Channels. With its efficiency further increased compared to Noctua's previous 92mm models, it contributes significantly to the superior cooling performance of the NH-D9DX i4.

PWM support and low-noise adapter The NF-A9 92mm fan of the NH-D9DX i4 supports PWM for convenient, fully automatic speed control via the mainboard. In addition, the included low-noise adapter can reduce the maximum speed from 2000 to 1550rpm to allow even quieter operation.

Optional Dual Fan Operation The NH-D9DX i4 comes with an additional pair of fan clips. This allows a second, optionally available NF-A9 fan to be mounted on the front of the radiator for even better cooling performance. The Y-cable supplied with the optional NF-A9 PWM allows both fans to be operated and controlled on a motherboard connection.**
