The pressure sensors of series DS-KE-R are ceramic measuring cells using thick film technology for measuring static and dynamic relative pressures in liquids or gases. Typical applications are in the field of pneumatics and hydraulics and in industrial applications. Being made from ceramic (Al2O3) materials, the sensor has excellent resistance to aggressive and corrosive media. This family of sensors covers the entire pressure range from 1.6 bar to 600 bar FS with 14 graded variants. The external dimensions of all types are identical so that they fit the same mechanical enclosure construction. The sensor is a full wheatstone bridge. The output signal is a pressure-dependent differential voltage that can be directly processed using an instrument amplifier or an ASIC. The sensor is temperature-compensated.
