Description GrovePi+ Starter Kit for the Raspberry Pi - what is it? This starter kit is equipped with a GrovePi+ board and 12 carefully selected Grove sensors with 10 pieces of cable and gets the beginner up to speed with the Raspberry Pi in a flash. Simply place the GrovePi+ board on the Raspberry Pi and connect the sensors to the board, and the powerful platform is ready for your own hardware experimentation and prototyping. The GrovePi+ is 'stacked' on top of the Raspberry Pi; no other connections are required. The communication between the two is done via the I²C interface. All Grove modules work with the universal Grove connectors on the GrovePi+ shield using the universal 4-pin connector cable. The Grove modules work with analog and digital signals and can be connected directly to the ATMEGA328 microcontroller on the Grove Pi+. The microcontroller acts as an 'interpreter' between the Raspberry Pi and the Grove sensors. It sends commands to the Raspberry Pi or receives commands and executes them. The GrovePi+ is compatible with all current Raspberry Pi models (except for the Raspberry Pi 5 B at the moment).
