The device registers binary control signals from the field range, e.g. from sensors, transmitters, switches or proximity switches. The terminal is equipped with CAGE-CLAMP® connections, enabling single-stranded conductors to be inserted directly. An RC filter is connected upstream of each input channel with a time constant of 3.0 ms for suppressing interference. The signal state of each channel is indicated by means of a green status LED. Field and system levels are galvanically isolated from one another.
