HERNON 746 is a thermally excellent conductive two-component adhesive with very short curing time.

It provides an effective thermal connection between electronic components and heat sink. The material has exceptional adhesive properties - thus eliminating the need for mechanical fastening.

The adhesive consists of a 746 paste adhesive and EF37173 liquid activator. The components are not mixed. It is sufficient to apply a small amount of the adhesive to one of the surfaces to be bonded and to coat the other surface with the activator. Joining is done by pressing. A correction is possible within 15-30 seconds. At room temperature, the bond is hand-tight after 5 minutes at room temperature and hardens completely within 24 hours.

Instructions for use: Apply HERNON 746 adhesive sparingly to a bonding surface. Apply HERNON EF37173 Activator to the other adhesive surface and apply a thin coat over the entire surface. Join the parts by turning them slightly back and forth and press firmly for a few seconds. The ideal processing temperature is 20 ... 28°C, within 15-30 seconds the position of the parts can be corrected. After 5 minutes resting time, about 70% and after 24 hours 100% of the final strength of the bonded joint is achieved. achieved. Excess adhesive that has leaked out at the side edges can be easily removed.
