Mikroe Hydro Probe Click

Mikroe Hydro Probe Click is a capacitive soil moisture sensor that detects volumetric water content in the soil. Water detection is achieved by using The Microchip MIC1557 function oscillator and MCP3221 ADC converter is used to detect water. This allows converting moisture presence to a digital value. The capacitive style when compared to resistant soil moisture sensors reduces electrode erosion. This makes it corrosion resistant and ideal for applications like soil moisture detection and automatic plant watering. The Hydro Probe Click can be used in agriculture usage, household usage for gardeners, research and forecast, and many more.
