SparkFun Qwiic pHAT Extension for Raspberry Pi 400

Sparkfun

The Raspberry Pi 400 is an incredible all-in-one computer, but its rear-facing GPIO header makes attaching standard HATs incredibly awkward. The SparkFun Qwiic pHAT Extension solves this problem instantly by acting as a bridge, bringing all 40 pins out to a flat, accessible area! This extension board allows you to mount your favorite HATs right-side up and access your I2C bus with zero hassle, keeping your workspace clean and your displays readable. Designed for Accessibility and Stability We designed this board specifically to match the ergonomics of the Pi 400 desktop environment.

* Right-Angle Extension: A 2x20 right-angle header connects directly to the back of your Pi 400, extending the GPIO safely out to the edge of the PCB.

* Dual Qwiic Connectors: We included a Qwiic port on both the left and right sides of the board, giving you easy, solderless access to the I2C bus (GND, 3.3V, SDA, and SCL) no matter how your desk is arranged.

* Silicone Bumpers: To prevent the extension board from sagging or straining the connector when you press down on a mounted HAT, the kit includes large, grippy silicone bumpers for rock-solid physical stability.

Build a Tower of Power Because the Qwiic system allows for daisy-chaining multiple boards with different addresses, you aren't just limited to a single HAT. You can utilize the integrated mounting holes on the pHAT to stack as many Qwiic-enabled sensors and breakouts as you need, creating a veritable tower of sensing power right on your desk. Please note that the Raspberry Pi 400 unit itself is not included with this extension and must be purchased separately.
